Job Purpose
To provide cleaning, maintenance, and general support services at municipal facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and a clean public environment.
Key Responsibilities
🧹 Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Dust, mop, and sanitize municipal buildings
- Manage waste disposal and bin emptying
☕ Support Services:
- Prepare beverages for meetings/events
- Assist with basic administrative tasks
Requirements
✅ Essential:
- Grade 10 certificate (Grade 12 advantageous)
- South African ID
- 18+ years old (not retirement age)
- Registered on municipal indigent database
✅ Preference Given To:
- Residents of UMzinyathi District
- Persons with disabilities
📜 Additional:
- SAPS clearance required upon appointment
