About the Role:
Tiger Brands is seeking a dedicated Systems Analyst to play a critical role in upholding the highest standards of quality and food safety at our Isando manufacturing site. This position is central to the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our core quality systems. The successful candidate will ensure product integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence within our fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation and adherence to Tiger Brands’ Core Standards across the plant.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain Pre-Requisite Programmes (PRPs) to support robust food safety systems.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of HACCP programmes.
- Manage robust document control processes to ensure accuracy, version control, and audit readiness.
- Oversee proper record-keeping practices aligned with food safety and quality standards.
- Manage non-conformances, including logging, investigation, root cause analysis, and closure.
- Drive Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) to address systemic issues.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring findings are addressed promptly.
- Analyse audit findings to identify trends and recommend Continuous Improvement (CI) interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A National Diploma or Degree in:
- Food Technology
- Quality Management
- Food Science
- Biotechnology
- Chemical Engineering
- Or a related field.
- Proven experience in driving quality, compliance, and food safety systems within a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, PRPs, and audit processes.
- Strong skills in root cause analysis and CAPA management.
- Excellent document control and record-keeping abilities.
