Internship Purpose

Key Responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Graduate at Feltex Automotive, you will be expected to:
Customer Demand Management
- Receive and verify accuracy of customer demand on a weekly basis
- Track and understand changes from previous releases
- Ensure smooth information flow between departments
Supplier Management
- Plan raw material and component requirements based on customer demand
- Monitor shipments to ensure timely deliveries from suppliers
- Assist with maintaining supplier scorecards and performance standards
Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor receipt of goods and raw materials into fixed stock locations
- Oversee dispatch of finished goods ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Process stock requisitions and issue materials as required
- Coordinate stock counts and investigate variances
Production Support
- Contribute to production planning and data control efforts
- Maintain required finished goods stock levels
- Follow up on outstanding Proof of Deliveries (PODs)
- Ensure correct stock handling practices are followed
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this internship, candidates must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- National Diploma in Logistics Management/Supply Chain or equivalent qualification
- South African citizenship or valid work permit
- Willingness to learn and develop in automotive supply chain
