Your Role & Impact
As a Shop Assistant/Cashier, you’ll be the face of Clicks, ensuring seamless operations and unforgettable customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Customer Service Excellence:
- Be a brand ambassador—friendly, visible, and professional.
- Educate customers on promotions, clubcard rewards, and product ranges.
✅ Point of Sale (POS) Operations:
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash securely and enroll customers in the Clicks Clubcard.
✅ Store Standards:
- Maintain visual merchandising and housekeeping.
- Support stock management and promotions.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Competencies:
🔹 Essential:
- Basic maths & numeracy skills
- Retail/FMCG knowledge (merchandising, promotions)
- Problem-solving & customer service orientation
🔹 Advantageous:
- Experience in retail/customer-facing roles
- Planning, organizing, and teamwork skills
Education:
📚 Minimum: Grade 12
📚 Preferred: Maths & English (50%+)
