About the Position
SA Metal seeks professional Security Officers to maintain safety and security at our Secunda facility. This is a critical role ensuring compliance with all security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
🔒 Control all access/egress points (gate operations & registers)
🛡️ Conduct thorough searches (pedestrians/vehicles/belongings)
👷 Enforce PPE compliance for visitors
📝 Verify documentation for all removed items
🍺 Administer breathalyzer tests for staff
🚔 Conduct regular facility patrols
👀 Monitor and report suspicious activities
📋 Enforce all company policies and procedures
Requirements
✅ Education: Matric/Grade 12 certificate
✅ Certification: Grade C PSIRA registration
✅ Experience: 2-3 years security experience
