About the Role
ImpactHR is seeking an alert and professional Security Guard to safeguard client premises in Sandton. This part-time position is ideal for licensed security professionals who excel in surveillance and access control. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a secure environment through proactive monitoring and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Surveillance & Patrols
- Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular property patrols
- Identify and respond to security breaches/emergencies
🔹 Access Control
- Verify credentials of employees, visitors, and vehicles
- Enforce entry/exit protocols
🔹 Reporting
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents and daily activities
- Submit timely reports to management
🔹 Safety Compliance
- Implement emergency procedures (fire, medical, etc.)
- Liaise with SAPS/emergency services when required
Requirements
✔ Valid Security License (PSIRA registered preferred)
✔ Matric Certificate (or equivalent)
✔ Physical Fitness – Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
✔ Observation Skills – Keen eye for detail
✔ Communication – Fluent in English (verbal/written)
Advantageous:
- 1+ years security experience
- Basic computer literacy
- First Aid/CPR certification
