Position Overview
The Agricultural Research Council (ARC) is seeking 4 Seasonal Labourers to support its honeybush and agricultural research projects in Stellenbosch. This hands-on role is ideal for those interested in gaining practical farming experience while contributing to South Africa’s agricultural innovation.
Key Responsibilities
🌱 Planting & weeding in honeybush fields and tunnels
🔍 Soil sampling and crop monitoring
🌿 General farm maintenance and plant care
📊 Assisting researchers with field experiments
Requirements
✅ Physical fitness for outdoor work in all weather
✅ Steady hands for delicate planting tasks
✅ Basic agricultural knowledge (advantageous)
✅ Driver’s license (beneficial but not required)
