Job Purpose
The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that all site-specific security requirements are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times through vigilant patrolling, access control, incident response, and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols and safeguard the assigned site or residential estate.
- Control and monitor all entrances and exits, completing relevant registers.
- Respond promptly and effectively to all alarms and security incidents.
- Perform all standard duties as per company training and procedures.
- Write accurate and detailed incident reports.
- Maintain constant vigilance and communicate effectively with the team and clients.
Minimum Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Certifications:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Grade B PSIRA accredited and registered with Response.
- Valid Code 8/10 Driver’s Licence.
- Fire Arm Competency – Handgun, Shotgun, Rifle for Business Purposes.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry.
- Must have estate/residential security experience.
- No criminal record (willing to undergo regular checks).
- Must be physically fit and in good health.
- Must reside in the Johannesburg Area.
Advantageous:
- Computer literacy.
Job Specification & Skills:
- Proficient in report writing and completing registers.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Able to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
