Job Overview:
Our client in the agricultural sector is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Checker to support warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a valid forklift license, and a willingness to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately.
- Load and offload trucks and containers.
- Check incoming stock and place items in correct locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with cycle counts, stocktakes, and waybill preparation.
- Handle customer collections and after-hours parcel pickups.
- Support the assembly of valves and filter banks.
- Adhere to HSE and LEAN standards.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Valid forklift license.
- Driver’s license and own reliable transport.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
- Physically fit and willing to do labour-intensive work.
- Computer literate with neat handwriting.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work overtime when needed.
