Position Overview
Medirite Plus (Shoprite Group) seeks a customer-focused Pharmacy Shop Assistant for their Daspoort branch in Pretoria. This part-time role is ideal for retail enthusiasts with strong interpersonal skills and basic pharmaceutical product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Process payments & operate POS systems
✔ Maintain product displays & restock shelves
✔ Assist customers with product selection
✔ Handle refunds/exchanges per company policy
✔ Conduct price audits & promotions
✔ Ensure store cleanliness & visual standards
Requirements
✅ Matric (Grade 12)
✅ 5+ months retail experience (till/counter)
✅ Bilingual (English & Afrikaans preferred)
✅ Basic computer literacy (POS systems)
Advantageous
