Key Responsibilities
🔧 Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections, repairs, and overhauls of industrial machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures to minimize downtime
⚙️ Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to strict safety protocols (OHS Act)
- Identify and mitigate workplace hazards
🔄 Process Improvement:
- Contribute to efficiency initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
📋 Documentation:
- Maintain equipment logs using MS Office
- Report on maintenance activities
Requirements
✅ Qualifications:
- Grade 12 + N3 Mechanical Certificate
- Red Seal Trade Test (Fitter/Fitter & Turner)
✅ Experience:
- 5+ years with heavy rotating equipment
- ASU plant experience (advantageous)
✅ Other:
- Valid driver’s license + own transport
- Physical fitness for manual tasks
- Willingness for overtime/standby
