Job Purpose
The overall purpose of this position is to perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance on the company’s fleet of vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and operational at all times, supporting the core security functions of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rebuild diesel and petrol engines for various makes of vehicles.
  • Perform scheduled servicing and day-to-day maintenance on company vehicles.
  • Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to a high standard.
  • Accurately compile job cards, service reports, and parts requisition paperwork for each vehicle.
  • Perform general workshop duties and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Be available for standby duties, shifts, and overtime as required.

Minimum Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • A clear criminal record.
  • A qualified trade certificate in diesel/petrol mechanics.
  • At least 5 years’ hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic.
  • valid driver’s licence (Code 10 is highly advantageous).
  • Physically fit and able to work under pressure and unsupervised.

Advantageous Experience:

  • Specific experience with Toyota Dyna, Hino 300, Hilux D4D, and Nissan NP200 vehicles.
  • Own reliable transport.
