MCE Electric, a leader in electrical product distribution, is hiring Delivery Drivers for our Johannesburg Outbound Logistics team. This role is critical for ensuring timely, safe deliveries while representing our brand professionally.
Key Responsibilities
đźšš Logistics Operations
- Execute on-time deliveries using optimized routes
- Load/unload goods (up to 25kg) with care
- Complete delivery documentation accurately
🛠️ Vehicle & Compliance
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (oil, tires, etc.)
- Maintain PDP compliance and safety standards
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations
đź’¬ Customer Service
- Serve as brand ambassador during deliveries
- Professionally resolve customer queries
- Report delivery issues to management
Requirements
âś” Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Code 10/14 driver’s license
- PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Clean driving record
âś” Experience & Skills
- 2+ years delivery driving (preferred)
- GPS navigation proficiency (Waze, Google Maps)
- Physical ability to lift heavy items
- Problem-solving skills for route disruptions
