Core Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
✔ Deliver CAPS-aligned lessons with 21st-century teaching methodologies
✔ Implement formative & summative assessments with constructive feedback
✔ Integrate technology (Smartboards/MS Teams) for blended learning
Student Development
✔ Foster critical thinking through project-based learning
✔ Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement
✔ Lead extracurricular activities (sports/clubs)
Administrative Duties
✔ Maintain SACE registration & teaching portfolio
✔ Submit termly reports & parent communication logs
✔ Ensure classroom safety (first aid certified)
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
✅ Bachelor’s Degree + PGCE (NQF 6) OR B.Ed (Intersen Phase)
✅ SACE registration (active status)
✅ 2-5 years’ classroom experience (Grade 4-6 preferred)
✅ Police clearance certificate
