Job Purpose
To perform general tasks that support the smooth running of the retail premises, including loading/offloading stock, maintaining cleanliness, providing client service, and undertaking various ad hoc duties to add value to the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform loading and offloading of stock as required, following policies and procedures.
- Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness of the premises (general housekeeping).
- Assist customers and suppliers with loading/unloading when needed.
- Provide basic customer service.
- Perform stock control tasks as directed.
- Carry out any other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Attributes:
- Grade 12 or NQF4.
- Able to perform hard manual labour.
- Service-oriented, accurate, thorough, and precise.
- In excellent health.
- Commitment to constantly adding value to the job function.
