Job Advert Summary
Kruger National Park, South Africa’s premier wildlife conservation area, is seeking a General Worker for the Mooiplaas Ranger Section. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to wildlife preservation while working in one of the world’s most iconic game reserves.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Maintain water installations for wildlife & park operations
✔ Assist in game capture & relocation efforts
✔ Control alien plant species to protect native ecosystems
✔ Participate in fire management & soil erosion prevention
✔ Perform general cleaning & maintenance of ranger facilities
✔ Support ad-hoc conservation tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements
✅ Grade 12 certificate
✅ Valid Code B driver’s license (essential)
✅ Physical fitness (manual labor required)
✅ Basic tool handling & maintenance skills
✅ Knowledge of occupational health & safety (OHS)
✅ Understanding of national park operations (advantageous)
