Job Purpose
To provide efficient customer and operational support in loading/offloading, stock management, and store maintenance at BUCO Somerset West.
Key Responsibilities
🛒 Customer & Driver Support:
- Prepare and verify order accuracy
- Assist with loading/unloading vehicles safely
📦 Stock & Yard Management:
- Maintain organized yard stock for easy access
- Ensure clean and safe vehicle loading zones
🧼 Store Maintenance:
- Complete wash bay activities
- Keep shelves/displays tidy and customer-ready
🔧 Workshop Assistance:
- Support joinery/workshop operations as needed
Requirements
✅ Essential:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Physical fitness for manual handling
✅ Advantageous:
- Retail/warehouse experience
- Basic product knowledge (hardware/building materials)
✅ Attributes:
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- Attention to safety protocols
