Job Purpose
To ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all passengers on board FlySafair aircraft. The Flight Attendant is the face of the airline, responsible for delivering a positive passenger experience through impeccable service while rigorously adhering to all aviation safety regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously ensure strict compliance with all applicable SACAA and company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure the efficient and caring execution of all onboard activities to guarantee a positive passenger experience.
- Conduct pre-flight safety checks, deliver safety demonstrations, and manage all safety equipment.
- Provide professional in-flight service, including the sale of onboard products and catering to passenger needs.
- Promote a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
- Ensure a high standard of administrative compliance, including accurate reporting and documentation.
Minimum Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Certifications (All current and valid – non-negotiable):
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Valid SACAA Cabin Crew Licence.
- Valid Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate.
- Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate.
- Valid Ditching Certificate.
- Valid Fire Fighting Certificate.
- Valid South African driver’s licence.
- Level 4 English language proficiency.
- Medically fit and able to swim.
- Willingness and ability to work irregular shifts, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, and late nights.
