About the Opportunity
Join the Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP). This initiative empowers unemployed individuals to contribute to food security and rural development while gaining hands-on tractor operation experience 15.
Key Requirements
✅ Education: Grade 10 or equivalent (SAQA-recognized)
✅ License: Valid Code EC1 (10) driver’s license (exemption for PWD)
✅ Experience: 3+ years relevant experience
✅ Skills Test: Practical tractor driving assessment for shortlisted candidates 15
Preferred Attributes:
- Knowledge of tractor implements (plough, harrow, sprayer, etc.)
- Strong teamwork and safety awareness
- Ability to work under pressure
Duties & Responsibilities
🚜 Operate tractors and implements for land cultivation, planting, and harvesting
🔧 Perform routine tractor maintenance and logbook updates
⚠️ Adhere to health/safety protocols and report defects
⛽ Assist with fuel/oil dispensing and storage
📋 Submit daily activity reports 15
