Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually deliver meals, ingredients, and catering supplies between sites.
- Operate the vehicle strictly within the laws of the South African Road Safety Act and adhere to client-specific speed limits.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and maintain the vehicle in a clean condition.
- Load and offload food containers and catering equipment with care.
- Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, trip sheets, mileage records, and fuel logs.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Assist catering teams with the movement of equipment as required.
- Comply with all company policies, traffic regulations, and critical food-safety standards.
- Represent Tsebo/Fedics in a professional manner at all client sites.
