Job Purpose
To safely and efficiently transport goods using Code 14 vehicles, ensuring on-time deliveries, compliance with road regulations, and adherence to company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Code 14 MAN trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance needs immediately.
- Ensure all loads are correctly secured and comply with dangerous goods regulations (PrDP).
- Complete all delivery documentation accurately and submit it on time.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and South African traffic legislation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good mechanical condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or delivery delays to management without delay.
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Valid Code 14 driver’s licence.
- Valid PrDP – DGP (Dangerous Goods Permit).
- A minimum of 5 years’ proven Code 14 driving experience.
- A minimum of 5 years’ specific experience driving MAN trucks.
- A clear criminal record.
- Must be medically fit and have sober habits.
- Good knowledge of South African road traffic laws.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and public holidays.

- Excellent driving and defensive driving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding vehicle checks and load safety.
- Good verbal communication skills.
