Job Purpose
To compile, capture, audit, reconcile, and distribute all gaming-related documents from count and cash desk functions daily. The clerk ensures accuracy, identifies variances, investigates suspicious activity, and provides verified data for analysis, all in strict compliance with gaming legislation and internal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and communicate internal audit templates for count and cash desk functions.
  • Conduct regular internal audits on slots (soft count, meters, jackpots) and tables (fills, credits, chips).
  • Complete monthly audits of numbered stationery, cards, layouts, and merchandise.
  • Reconcile Cage reports, ACM (CAIONS) systems, and conduct online investigations for suspicious transactions.
  • Report daily on count variances, investigate manual adjustments, and escalate errors.
  • Respond to queries from the Shared Services Centre and ensure all backup documentation is recorded.
  • Make recommendations to address problem areas and prevent revenue loss.

Minimum Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12 with Maths/Numeracy.
  • Basic bookkeeping certificate.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in gaming and/or auditing.
  • Experience working with accounting or casino management systems.
  • Must meet all requirements for a Gaming license.

Technical Competencies:

  • Knowledge of gaming regulations, cashiering, and count processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong numerical skills.
  • Auditing knowledge and methodology.
  • High level of personal integrity and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of EGS (Electronic Gaming Systems) is an advantage.
