Job Purpose
To manage all customer transactions accurately and efficiently for the TWK Outdoor store, providing friendly and professional service while maintaining orderly checkout operations and supporting general store duties to ensure a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using card payment systems and barcode scanners.
- Issue correct receipts, refunds, credits, or exchanges as required.
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked checkout area.
- Bag, box, or wrap purchased merchandise for customers.
- Assist with general store duties including stocking shelves, pricing items, and participating in stock takes.
Minimum Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12 with Accounting and Mathematics as subjects.
- Computer literate.
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Code 08).
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
Advantageous Qualifications:
- Previous cashier or retail experience.
