Job Purpose
To supervise and coordinate security operations (section/shift) for the protection of employees, assets, information, and Eskom interests at Ankerlig Power Station.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
✅ National Diploma in Security Management/Policing/Security Risk Management (NQF 6, 240 Credits)
Experience:
🛡️ 2+ years in security operations (supervisory role preferred)
Certifications & Competencies:
✔ SASSETA Skills Program 1-4
✔ National Key Point & Firearm Handling certifications
✔ Valid driver’s license (must be able to drive)
✔ No criminal record
Skills:
🔹 Behavioral: Integrity, professionalism, stress tolerance
🔹 Leadership: Team mentoring, conflict resolution
🔹 Technical: Security legislation, OHS compliance
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Supervise shift/section security resources
🔹 Monitor contractor (security provider) performance
🔹 Conduct OHS inspections & risk assessments
🔹 Enforce NKP (National Key Point) protocols
🔹 Emergency response coordination
