Key Responsibilities:
✔ Maintain & repair diesel-powered mining/plant equipment
✔ Conduct risk assessments & emergency procedures
✔ Lead toolbox talks & root cause analyses (RCAs)
✔ Mentor junior artisans & improve plant sustainability
✔ Ensure compliance with safety (IMS, MBO) & housekeeping standards
✔ Provide accurate equipment history feedback
Qualifications & Requirements:
✅ Grade 12/N3 (Maths, English, Physical Science)
✅ NQF 4 Diesel Mechanic Trade Test (non-negotiable)
✅ Flameproof & Gas Testing Certificates
✅ 0–5+ years’ experience in plant/mining equipment maintenance
✅ Strong troubleshooting & technical analysis skills
Advantageous Skills:
