About the Role
This position is responsible for the accurate capture, maintenance, and analysis of security and crime-related data. The role involves developing data retrieval procedures, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring all information supports effective management decision-making and operational security within the Group.

Key Responsibilities

Administration and Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to all Security Policies, Codes of Conduct, and Procedures.
  • Identify gaps in data sets and implement plans to fill them.
  • Maintain and update databases daily, retrieving information using relevant software.
  • Develop data retrieval procedures and map data between source systems and data warehouses.
  • Compile data from various sources including crime intelligence, satellite imagery, and maps.
  • Analyse criminal practices affecting the Group, map outcomes, and develop hypotheses for management.
  • Perform weekly reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly crime reports, incident reports, and shift logs.
  • Monitor and maintain effective internal and external communication channels.

Stakeholder Relations:

  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders across all organisational levels and externally.

Compliance & Culture:

  • Actively support the organisational development plan and targeted cultural shift.
  • Ensure compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) standards, international responsible mining principles, and all company policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification: NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of related administrative and data capture experience.
  • Clear Records: A clear security screening and credit record.
  • Medical: Must be medically fit to work in the specific business area.
  • License: A valid driver’s license is advantageous.
