About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated Junior BI Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Microsoft BI tools (SQL, SSIS, Power BI). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Reporting & Implementation
✔ Develop ETL processes, stored procedures, and dashboards (Power BI/SSRS).
✔ Translate business needs into scalable BI solutions using MS SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS.
✔ Maintain code quality via corporate standards & documentation.
2. Data Analysis & Development
✔ Build automated reports/queries to improve business metrics.
✔ Assist in data migrations (imports/exports between systems).
✔ Optimize T-SQL queries for performance.
3. Production Support & QA
✔ Troubleshoot BI tools/data pipelines.
✔ Perform data quality checks and uphold metadata integrity.
✔ Escalate critical issues proactively.
Qualifications & Skills
✅ Education: IT Degree/Diploma
✅ Experience:
- 1+ years with MS BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI)
- T-SQL optimization & debugging
- Kimball data warehouse lifecycle knowledge
✅ Certifications: Microsoft SQL (advantageous)
