Position Overview
Blue Marble Recruitment is seeking PSIRA Grade C Security Officers to protect personnel, assets, and property in the Westrand area. This role involves shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Patrol premises and monitor surveillance equipment
✔ Control access points (entry/exit)
✔ Report irregularities and detain trespassers
✔ Complete incident reports with witness statements
✔ Respond to emergencies (theft, fire, assaults)
✔ Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Requirements
✅ Valid PSIRA Grade C registration (non-negotiable)
✅ Clean criminal record
✅ Reliable transport
✅ Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
✅ Surveillance & risk assessment abilities
