Job Description
The City of Johannesburg is seeking a Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in public facilities across Region B. This role is essential for ensuring safe, sanitary environments for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Perform cleaning duties: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing
✔ Maintain cleaning equipment and report faults
✔ Follow health & safety regulations
✔ Ensure proper storage of cleaning materials
✔ Work independently & in teams
Requirements
✅ Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Compulsory)
✅ Cleaning experience (advantageous)
✅ Physically fit (able to perform manual tasks)
✅ Reliable, punctual & trustworthy
✅ Good communication skills
