About the Role

As an Inventory Clerk at DHL, you’ll be crucial for:

✔ Minimizing inventory losses

Shift: Full-time, permanent
Location: Port Elizabeth Distribution Centre

Key Responsibilities

📊 Inventory Control

  • Manage Perpetual Inventory (PI) program
  • Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock counts
  • Monitor put-away locations and pick faces

🔍 Discrepancy Management

  • Investigate and reconcile stock differences
  • Process stock write-offs with proper documentation
  • Report KPIs on stock accuracy

📦 Quality Assurance

  • Identify expired/damaged stock
  • Ensure products meet quality standards
  • Coordinate with clients on stock issues

💡 Process Improvement

  • Suggest efficiency enhancements
  • Assist with stock take preparations
  • Train team members on best practices

Requirements

Education:

  • Matric certificate (essential)
  • Inventory Management certification (advantageous)

Experience:

  • 3-5 years in warehouse/logistics
  • SAP Warehouse Management (WM) experience preferred
