Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality carpentry work including repairs and installations of doors, cabinetry, skirting, windows, and wooden floors.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as ceiling repairs, painting, minor building repairs, and fixing locking mechanisms.
- Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and respond promptly to reactive maintenance calls.
- Accurately submit job cards, maintain a clean and safe work area, and ensure all tools are kept in good condition.
- Strictly adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and TFS SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) standards at all times.
Skills and Competencies

Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Trade Certification: A formal Carpentry Trade Test is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in carpentry and general maintenance.
- Skills: Additional general handyman skills in basic plumbing, building, and metalwork are advantageous.
- Attributes: Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
