Job Purpose
To maintain a safe and secure environment for our facilities, employees, and visitors by conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, enforcing access control, and responding promptly and effectively to all security incidents and emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking lots, and entry points, to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security software/tools.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, ensuring the safety of all persons on site.
- Enforce security protocols, including verifying identification, controlling access, and managing visitor logs.
- Perform routine security inspections of doors, windows, and equipment.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
- Provide clear guidance to employees and visitors on safety and emergency procedures.
- Assist in coordinating evacuations and other emergency responses when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification in security (e.g., Grade C PSIRA or similar).
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in operating surveillance systems, security software, and communication tools.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to incidents.

- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure or in emergencies.
