Job Purpose
To assist, provide, and lead unprecedented levels of service to all Black Card and “Bubbling Under” guests by focusing on and exceeding guest expectations. This is achieved through leadership and control of the Salon Privé and other premium gaming areas, ensuring every interaction is world-class.
Main Responsibilities
VIP Guest Relations & Service Leadership
- Deliver world-class, personalised service to a culturally diverse premium gaming market.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with Black Card players, liaising regularly to foster loyalty.
- Manage allocated Black Card players with the key intention of generating targeted visits and revenue.
- Be highly visible and available in the Salon Privé and other areas when VIP clients are present.
Business Development & Marketing
- Establish Emperors Palace as the destination of choice for local and international premium players.
- Assist in marketing VIP player packages to gain optimum exposure for the property.
- Have the opportunity to travel locally to increase the customer database and offer a specialised service.
- Assist in performing cost-benefit analysis on premium player events to determine financial impact.
Compliance & Operations
- Ensure all confidentiality, Gauteng Gaming Board (GGB), regulatory procedures, SOPs, and license requirements are strictly implemented at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
- A minimum of 12 months’ experience as a Gaming VIP Services Host is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- An additional language is essential.
- Shift work is an operational requirement.
Advantageous:
- Knowledge of premium player management is an added advantage.
Specific Job Requirements
- Must be operationally required to work in a smoking environment.
- Will be required to obtain a Gauteng Gaming Board Licence.
