Programme Purpose
This 12-month learnership is designed to equip unemployed youth with essential skills and knowledge specific to liquid dairy reception. The programme blends structured theoretical learning with hands-on practical experience in the UHT division, preparing learners for potential careers in dairy processing and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
As a learner, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the reception of raw milk, following strict company procedures.
  • Learning and applying knowledge about the nature, composition, and quality parameters of milk.
  • Following and maintaining the highest food safety, quality, and hygiene standards (FSSC 22000).
  • Performing housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Assisting with Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Clean-out-of-Place (COP) processes for equipment hygiene.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric) or a relevant diploma.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Currently unemployed.

  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately.
