Learnership Purpose
The primary purpose of this 18.2 Diesel Mechanic Learnership is to provide structured training that leads to a formal trade qualification. Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet ONE of the following academic criteria:
Option 1 (N2 Route):
- N2 Certificate with the following four subjects: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Diesel Trade Theory, and Engineering Drawings.
Option 2 (NCV Route):
- National Certificate Vocational (NCV) in Engineering and related design, with at least 40% for all subjects.
Option 3 (Matric Route):
- Grade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science, Engineering Graphic Design (Drawings), and relevant trade theory, with at least 40% for all subjects.
Additional Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be medically fit to work in the specific business area.
- Must have a clear security screening record.
- A valid driver’s licence is required if applicable to the role.
Advantageous:
- Relevant experience in an engineering environment.
