Position Overview
Shoprite Group is seeking Contact Centre Agents to deliver exceptional customer service across multiple channels (phone, email, chat, social media). This permanent role in Randburg offers a dynamic work environment with shift-based schedules (including weekends/public holidays).
Key Responsibilities
✔ Handle customer inquiries via voice, email & digital channels
✔ Resolve issues efficiently (First Contact Resolution focus)
✔ Escalate complex cases & follow up for resolution
✔ Update customer records accurately in systems
✔ Meet KPIs (response times, quality standards)
✔ Drive customer retention through excellent service
Requirements
✅ Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
✅ 1+ years customer service experience (call centre preferred)
✅ Tech-savvy (MS Office 365 proficiency)
✅ Shift flexibility (8am–8pm, weekends/public holidays)
Advantageous
🔹 NQF Level 4 qualification
