Bursary Overview
The Schauenburg Education Trust invites applications for 2026 academic bursaries covering:
✅ Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc)
✅ Business Management/Administration (BCom)
Funding covers: 2nd, 3rd & 4th year studies
Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirements
- Current 1st/2nd/3rd year students at:
• University of Pretoria
• University of Johannesburg
• NWU (Vanderbijlpark)
• Wits University - Must have passed all registered courses
- Not open to University of Technology/College students
Demographic Requirements
- Black South African citizens (per B-BBEE)
- Preference given to:
• Black women
• Students under 35
• Persons with disabilities
Commitment Required
- Available for 3-week mid-year vacation work at Schauenburg Systems
- Willing to undergo interviews & psychometric testing
Bursary Coverage
- Full tuition/registration/exam fees (paid directly to university)
- Accommodation allowance (based on university hostel rates)
- Textbook & course material allowance
- Living expense stipend
All payments at Trustees’ discretion
