Job Description
You’ll be responsible for:
✔ Delivering bread and confectionery products to retailers and traders.
✔ Taking orders from customers (including chain stores).
✔ Handling cash transactions and ensuring timely deliveries.
✔ Maintaining stock levels and coordinating replenishments when needed.
✔ Assisting with crate recovery to minimize losses.
Minimum Requirements
✔ Valid Code 10 Driver’s License + PDP (must be maintained).
✔ Grade 12 certificate.
✔ 2+ years of driving experience (FMCG environment preferred).
✔ Sales/delivery experience (cash handling is a plus).
✔ Good English communication & numeracy skills.
✔ Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays & overtime when required.
✔ Physical ability to load/unload goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure on-time deliveries and manage stock shortages professionally.
- Collect orders for the next day and submit them promptly.
- Recover empty crates to reduce losses.
- Assist with transporting materials, personnel, or equipment when needed.
- Support other drivers during shortages or absences.
